Another reincarnation

The long and painful process of finding the ultimate CMS for herzbube.ch has gone forward another step. I have decided to abandon phpWebSite in favor of Drupal. Let's see how long this reincarnation lives...

The long and painful process of finding the ultimate CMS for herzbube.ch has gone forward another step. I have decided to abandon phpWebSite in favor of Drupal. Let's see how long this reincarnation lives...

There are no clear reasons for this change of CMS, I can merely state the vague impressions that

• Drupal feels less heavy-weight than phpWebSite, both visually and on the administration side, and that
• it seems to me as if the community around Drupal is more active and has a more "classic" (or "geeky") open-source aura than phpWebSite.

Bummer is that I completely overlooked Drupal when I first evaluated for CMS back in 2004...
